After-Conference Social Event

Many of you have expressed interest in our after-conference social event this year.

The event is from 6-8pm at Lime Restaurant, which is within walking distance of the venue for the conference in the Denver Pavilions. There will be appetizers and drink tickets provided when you check in for the event, and the entire back portion of the restaurant is reserved for our conference attendees. There will be a DJ this year, and additional opportunities for prizes. Last year’s event was a lot of fun, and we expect this year’s event to be fun, as well.

Thanks to the good people at Version One for sponsoring the event!

Lean Coffee at Mile High Agile

Are you a morning person? Or do you sometimes need something stimulating to start your day? Then Lean Coffee may be just what you are looking for! Don’t worry, no jumping jacks! Lean Coffee is a meeting format that lets the participants quickly generate an agenda and begin discussing the topics they want to dig into! Each topic has a time box and at the end of that box, the group votes to continue on that topic or move to the next.

Excited to dig into topics before the conference sessions start? Want to learn a valuable discussion format? Come join us in the Agile Foundations room (Mineral BC) at 7:00 AM and get Mile High Agile 2015 started with a kick! This is for people with any level of agile experience (from “none” to “I’m an agile unicorn”).

Announcement of Speakers!

The Mile High Agile 2015 speaker selection committee is pleased to announce this year’s talks!

The Program page has been updated with a PDF of the schedule, as well as descriptions for the talks and speaker profiles.

There are a few revisions that need to be made, but we’ll update the Program page and PDF as details emerge.

Mile High Agile is pleased to announce two keynote speakers for MHA 2015. Our morning keynote will be author Mike Cohn and author Rod Collins will share his experiences over lunch in the main ballroom.

Mike has more than 15 years of experience with Scrum and agile as a mentor, coach, and a consultant at Mountain Goat Software.

Rod is Director of Innovation at Optimity Advisors with a focus on next generation approaches to business management.
